The Medical Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Myrhorod" is located in the most picturesque corner of Myrhorod, in the northern part of the city, on an island that occupies an area of 46 hectares of land and whose shores are washed on all sides by the river Khorol.
Nature has treated Myrhorod with special generosity, endowing it with invaluable natural gifts: healing water, mild climate, and picturesque terrain.
The territory of the MRC covers an area of 14 hectares. All climatic and natural factors contribute to treatment, rehabilitation, and recreation.
The health resort is a structural subdivision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which is designed to provide treatment and rehabilitation, recreation for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, servicemen of the Internal Troops and Convoy Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, their families, pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, participants in the liquidation of the Chornobyl accident, combatants, disabled people of all categories and any other citizens with diseases of the digestive system.
MRC welcomed its first guests on December 25, 1981, when it was called the "Myrhorod" sanatorium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. Since the beginning of 2001, the sanatorium was reorganized into MRC "Myrhorod" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The Center is an independent medical and preventive institution with year-round functioning.
The treatment of patients is mainly based on natural therapeutic factors, first of all, therapeutic mineral water "Myrhorodska" for internal and external use, dietary therapeutic nutrition following current modern scientifically based physiological standards, climatotherapy, physical therapy, psychotherapy, medication, and physiotherapy.
The MRC has 28 treatment and diagnostic rooms, and 52 treatment and diagnostic methods are applied.
The organization of treatment of persons undergoing recovery and rehabilitation is carried out mainly by natural healing factors.
Along with natural therapeutic factors, our center has the necessary medical and diagnostic rooms, and a pump room of mineral water, which is extracted from its well 711 m deep.

The primary goal of the MRC team is to provide the most effective services for strengthening and restoring health to the persons who arrived at the health resort. All diagnostic examinations and treatment procedures are constantly updated through the introduction and development of new techniques.
